The Concert and Sacred Music Program will be presented in a sacred concert at the Cathedral of Narni, performances of the STABAT MATER and SALVE REGINA by Pergolesi in a unique candlelight concert at the Church of Santa Maria Impensole – 1.175 B.C. (Umbria Segreta), OPERA IN AMELIA with orchestra, and various concerts in Narni.

EMERGING ARTISTS PROGRAM (July 4 – July 18)

The Emerging Artists Program directed by Professor Maya Hoover, offers the opportunity to study with internationally renowned Italian and U.S. teachers, coaches, and conductors; sing in master classes; and perform supporting roles and chorus in the full opera productions. This year’s Emerging Artists will have the opportunity to add in-depth study of art song, focusing on the songs of Spain and Latin America. Artists will benefit from lectures, private master classes, and coachings, and will perform in recitals, including a special concert of all Spanish-language repertoire. The program provides opportunities for singers to receive guidance and connections to some of the world’s most prestigious universities and conservatories.

CULTURE & LEISURE PROGRAM (for parents or family members July 4 – July 18 – subject to availability. Please inquire for details)

The Culture & Leisure Program is an opportunity for enthusiasts of Italy to experience the many treasures of this amazing country through many cultural excursions and classes in cuisine, art, Italian history and music. We also offer the opportunity to attend our Sacred Concert under the baton of Maestro Lorenzo Porzio in the beautiful Narni Cathedral. The program includes tickets to all Narnia Festival evening concerts.

  • CULTURAL EVENTS (i.e. lectures, concerts, Narni Underground and candlelight concert, Market of local artisans and typical products of Umbria, meet the artist, “book presentation”, Tango evening (subject to change)
