One of the world’s leading and most charismatic guitarists, Tali Roth has been hailed by Classical Guitar magazine as “an extraordinary solo and chamber musician” and by The New York Times as a “marvelous classical guitarist”. Her past engagements include performing the guitar soundtrack for Woody Allen’s 2010 film, You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger, featuring Anthony Hopkins, Antonio Banderas, and Frida Pinto. Since her Carnegie Hall debut with members of The Juilliard Orchestra, Ms. Roth has performed as a soloist throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Latin America, Japan and her native country of Israel, appearing in recitals chamber concerts and concertos at  Carnegie Hall,  Alice Tully Hall with violinist Midori, Alvin Ailey theatre, the 92nd St Y Festival, Rose Hall at Lincoln Center, the Caramoor Center with conductor Giovanni Reggioli, Tel Aviv Henry Crown Hall, Sanremo Italy town Hall, Teatro Presidente in San Salvador with the El Salvador Philharmonic with conductor Sarmientos, Teatro Solis in Uruguay, Haiyuza Theatre Roppongi, Tokyo, with Members of Israel Philharmonic and the New York Philharmonic ensemble Series at Lincoln Center. She was featured soloist with Flamenco Kumatubra and Silvia Duran Dance companies.

She is the only guitarist ever to win the Masterplayers International Music Competition in Switzerland.

Director of the New York University (NYU), former Guitar Department, she has presented master classes throughout the world and was head judge of many International guitar competitions, including GFA.

Ms Roth is a recipient of The Carnegie Hall Teaching Excellence Award. Tali Roth has been the head of the guitar program at Juilliard Pre-College since 2005 and the Narnia Festival in Italy since 2012. She is the President of GuitarOasisInternational foundation and the Director founder of Italy festival, not for profit (3)(c).

Its purpose is nourishing talent through masterclasses, performances, and recordings for Classical guitar, Film Music and Composition, and Violin.

She was recently appointed Chair of Alumni and North America Friends for The Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.

Ms Roth is a LuthierStrings Artist and Endorsee.

She holds a Master from Juilliard, an Artist Diploma from Koeln Musikhochschule Academy, Germany, and a BM from the JAMD Rubin Academy, Jerusalem.
